FLAG Lanterna

FLAG Lanterna is a local action group for fisheries in the area of ​​the city of Šibenik, the municipality of Bilice, the municipality of Primošten, the municipality of Rogoznice and the municipality of Marina. All of the above units are located in the area of ​​Šibenik-Knin County, except for the municipality of Marina, which is part of the Split-Dalmatia County, but with other entities it forms a functional unit (continuity of spatial integrity has been achieved).

We are the link and engine of the partnership of the economic, public and civil sectors. We operate according to the principles of the LEADER concept, which is based on the specificities of the local area "from the bottom up" - an approach that brings together and encourages local stakeholders. We in the local community will improve the quality of life, strengthen and connect stakeholders, encourage cross-sectoral cooperation and participation of all groups in decision-making at the local level and those who work towards sustainable and balanced development in our area. In addition to implementing FLAG/FLAG Lanterna projects, we are ready to provide all logistical support to our members
from the civil and economic sectors in the preparation of documentation for implementing project activities.

A fishing community that strives for sustainable development, development of fisheries and mariculture, cross-sectoral cooperation, innovation and smart development.

Lanterna FLAG Mission:
The main mission is to contribute to improving the economy and quality of life of the local population in the area of ​​five local government units. The mission will be achieved by strengthening the economic potential of the area with an emphasis on the development of fisheries and mariculture and all other activities that enable the sustainable development of this fishing area; the development of entrepreneurial thinking and culture and assistance to the development of entrepreneurship, especially the development of small-scale fisheries and mariculture and small-scale entrepreneurship and crafts.
